WHAT'S THE PRODUCT EXPIRATION DATE?
When sealed, the product shelf life is 12 months, as indicated on the packaging.
After opening, use within 6 months.
The lifetime of the sealant inside the tube is 3 to 8 months, depending on the weather, humidity, and number of punctures.
You can always top up the sealant.
CAN THE SEALANT WORK WITH OTHER SEALANTS?
Yes.
The Red Matter sealant is completely different from other sealants. Trials show that mixing Red Matter with commonly used sealants raises no issues. You can use it without removing or cleaning off other sealants.
However, for best results, make a fresh start.
WHAT’S THE SEALANT’S MOST EFFICIENT SEALING RANGE?
You will barely notice small punctures, and the air and sealant that escape will be minimal. Punctures up to 6.4mm (1/4") should rapidly self-seal without using tire worms. Larger punctures take longer to seal.
If you see that the self-sealing is not immediate, add a small tire worm before you continue cycling.
